Can’t be all about health and climate, hopefully some more comedy, music, videos and inspiring themes or just stupid ones., let’s see what we can fit. I might even add some chess, which I’m terrified to involve myself in… Any suggestions, please post below in the comments field, yes all the way at the bottom.

Music

Keep the good times rolling

I found music again in the last few years, and I had extra time to listen more during covid and home office.
My music taste has changed over the years, but I still can put on an Dr Dre album for some extra energy or Metallica. Still dig Bob Marley

Still like most genres, but damn all the great music they produced in the late 60s and 70s. From Led Zeppelin to Marvin Gaye, David Bowie to Jimi Hendrix.
I’m trying to like The Beatles, but given up on Rolling Stones. I believe Beatles is mostly sat at number one, due to the fact that England lost their world domination and did everything they could to win it back. So congrats to the British music journalists of the 60s, you did a fantastic job! A bit tongue in cheek there, they do have their highlights.

Big Thanks to the Rolling Stone Magazine who made their top 500 list of the best songs, it made me find a lot of quality music from pre 80s.

I also like the youtube channel of Rick Beato, highly skilled and a lot of great info, lists and analysis of great tunes:

Food recipes

Reduce our meat consumption, doesn't have to be all veggies

I’m not great at vegetarian food, but I have a spouse who takes care of our exploration into greener food, for which I’m very grateful of.

I like cooking and eating new and interesting dishes, so I’m always pro new recipes.

One of the biggest shocks came when she offered vegetarian lasagna, one of my favorite dishes, obviously with meat, sounded like sacrilege.
But yes, this is an excellent recipe from one of the most known food blogger from Norway, site is in Norwegian, but she has the recipes in English as well.
One of the best thing with Trines recipes is that ingredients aren’t all over the place,  fairly standard food.

Any other pages with tasteful food with less or no meat is highly appreciated, please send it and we will try a few and post it here.

Simple science experiments

- but still hard to explain, good for your kids and yourself

Love science and experiments have been the way to understand science for centuries. Here are some simple experiments that you can do at home and discuss with your kids. Getting kids into science is a good way I believe to get them interested in saving the planet. i believe we need to start the process and they need to solve it for a continuing process on how the 10-15 billion of us can live on the planet.

Travel

Less, but with quality

As we should try to reduce our travelling, but still need to meet other people from other cultures to learn. So maybe one solution is to stop more of the weekend travels with plane, and rather save planes for trips spanning several days, a week maybe. I guess we are so used to cheaper plane tickets that we can travel overseas for a weekend, and maybe it was kind of cool saying you went to New York in the weekend, but not so clever if you really think about it. This is something that will hurt for quite a few, mee to, as I have travelled around many cities in Europe for weekend trips. Maybe this got too serious and needs to be lifted into another section…
Some tips, more here Eco friendly travelling;

Skip the plane if you can
Use public transportation
Choose an eco-hotel and Eco-certified products
Stay with locals or share accommodations
Skip the fresh daily towels and getting your room cleaned daily
Avoid plastic bottles
Avoid shopping cheap useless products
Use coral-safe sunscreen
Wash your own clothes
